FOR ALL GUESTS
For all guests, fishing equipment rental

Why we
charge for housekeeping: We are on an island, by definition
surrounded by water. As such, humidity can be higher than normally
experienced inland. Mold and bacteria love moisture and will grow overnight
if not treated. Also, since all of the cottages have direct outside
entrances, carpets need to be vacuumed, and occasionally bugs need
to be removed. Soft drinks in the cottages need replenishing, and the
used glassware needs to be replaced. We also run our own water distribution
and septic systems, which are professionally checked monthly. It is
our experience that these systems need to be checked on a daily basis
to ensure proper operation. Further, if the humidity is elevated, wet
towels hung out to dry simply do not. |
